This tri-pod travels better than most people I know. Light and compact, it doesn't make my shoulder ache if I have to carry it for a time and once I'm ready to shoot, I can get it into locked position, with my camera sighted, very quickly. While I wouldn't trust it out on a windy butte, it's ideal for indoors and static environments.

I purchased these for student use at an elementary school. The center stability rod was broken on 3 of the 4 that we received. Knowing that kids would be using these, I am sure the 4th would break in no time.

I'm a person with a nervious condition. I needed a steady tripod to get clear pictures. With this one I can use it as a monopod or a tripod. Most of what I shoot are nature, and posed pictures. I do a number of close ups. This piece of equipment is perfect for what I needed.
This is one time I got more than I expected in features and the sturdy way it's built.
