Works well! You can use it anywhere. I like that the footings wrap around places to get shots you can't get otherwise.

I ordered this product thinking it was what it looked like on the picture. it's not. it also says these are good for SLR cameras. it's not, its only for compact cameras. i had to return it and buy the right one in the store.

I was really frustrated!! I purchased this tripod to use on a trip to Africa. Upon arrival, I opened my luggage to find the tripod in three pieces. I tried to reassemble it, but the legs will not stay put in the body. I will be returning it.

As I opened the package and seperated the legs one of them popped out of it's joint and now it is impossible to put the pin back into place.

It could be very handy in those unusual situations where you don't want to drag a large, heavy tripod. It is only meant for small, compact cameras, though! I would not attach anything else to it!

I bought this product for my daughters Canon PowerShot. It works great, we have taken it on hikes, vactions, and to sporting events. You can get it to attach to just about anything, with a little tinkering. My dauhgters has also used it for still photos in Macro and it has worked well.

Do not buy this poorly designed product. The product broke with the first attempted use by my 11 year old daughter. The design of the ball and socket joint seems to be flawed. The internal pin did not function and the ball simply pulled out of the joint. Once out there is no way to repair. Very disappointing.

We travel quit a bit to fish and hunt and this tripod works out great. It packs just about anywhere and I have used it on the boat to take a self timed pictue of my husband and I. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that likes to take pictures.

I would definitely recommend using a timer (and remote if possible) when shooting with the pod, as pushing the trigger causes the whole unit to shake a bit, thus detracting from any benefits it has as a tripod.

This tripod would be great for a lighter camera. My Canon XT is a bit heavy for this little tripod especially when larger lens have been install.
