Comments about Quantaray 2x AF Tele-Converter for EOS:
This product works great. I first used it when i had the Canon 75-300mm lense and it worked perfect in AF mode at every focal length. I currently shoot with the Tamron 70-300mm and have found it awsome. I recommend this to anyone.

Comments about Quantaray 2x AF Tele-Converter for EOS:
Some people say Teleconverters dont work on lenses below 50mm, I have a Sigma 28-300mm so I decided to give it a try, 1.4x TC was sold out so I got the 2X Quantaray (US[$]).When I put it on I checked that there was no glass to glass contact, then I got excited because the teleconverter works on the entire zoom range (28-300mm) so this lens become 56-600mm !! that is awesome. The only thing is AF sometimes works, I guess that depends on the amount of light coming in trough the lens, I don't really care about that since I mostly use MF.The difference between the pictures taking with and without the teleconverter is not so much, I use this lens between F/7 and F/10, sometimes I have to increase ISO one step when there is not so much light, thats it, usually 800 is enough.I tried the TC today at 6 p.m. after work, even there is not so much sun light the pictures were clear. I can't wait to test it on summer time.

Comments about Quantaray 2x AF Tele-Converter for EOS:
This specific lens simply diversifies the ability and capacity of all other lenses in your collection capable of coupling to it. My personal use for this lens generally involves coupling it with a macro lens for extreme closeup photography of scientific specimens. It is also being used coupled with a Nikon compound microscope for collection of extremely high magnification micrographs. I have not yet used it coupled with a scanning confocal microscope but suspect that will happen in the near future. For the price involved this is an excellent tool to keep in the kit.

Comments about Quantaray 2x AF Tele-Converter for EOS:
For the price, this tele-converter will work fine. It is true that it will not work with some canon lens, however this point should be understood at the time of purchase. And of course there is no tele-converter that will work well or maybe at all with a lens over 200mm in the AF mode. Knowing that you have to go to manual focus with a longer lens will avoid un-real expectations.

Comments about Quantaray 2x AF Tele-Converter for EOS:
I just recently purchased this item. Found out it will not fit lenses in the EFS ranges. Will not fit the newer EFS 60mm or the 18-75 lense. It is really a total waste of time and money purchasing this product.
