I have a Pentax K200D with a 70x300mm,55x200mm and a 18x50mm and this bag accomodates all of this plus my flash, filters in 52mm and 62mm also my 52mm close-up set. I already own the U-30 backpack which was not large enough to carry all of my equipement. My camera also has a vertical grip which this backpack accomodates with ease. Quantaray has quality products and affordable prices.

i only had a few dislikes about this bag. first was that that at the top where the camera should usually go, if you use a professional body or a body with a grip, the viewfinder sicks stick out the top because it isnt deep enough at that spot. the second is that the laptop compartment is too small and when its not in use, is kinda annoying.
great bang for your buck!!!

This is an outstanding product. Not only can I store and carry my Compac laptop, but I have a separate compartment to carry my camera, lens and other accessory items. It is bulky, but I have everything right there instead of trying to carry several bags.

The U100 is well constructed for rugged use in the field. The inner storage compartment is a plus.

I bought this bag for my boyfriend a year ago and he loves it!!!! It has compartments for everything including the camera and accessories, laptop, ipod/cd player (w/ the hole for earphones cord), tripod, water bottle, etc. He takes it everywhere! Or if we're hiking he leaves the big bag and simply takes the camera compartment itself;-) I have nothing bad to say about this bag other than of course when you have ALL your gadgets loaded it's heavy.

I bought this bag primarily because of the price. I haven't found a bag that can hold as much as it does for the price. I also liked that I can remove the inner compartment that carries the camera equipment. What is really horrible about this bag is the way it feels on the back. In the ergonomic department it gets an F. One afternoon left a pain in my back due to it's make. I am using it mainly to store my stuff and carry it with me on planes or to a location. I would not recommend this bag for casual travel or backpacking.

Well, ive had this backpack for over a year now. and the first week or so i had it i love it. but then i tried to carry it with me walking around, and that didnt work. it was very uncomfortable and it takes a good 3 minuets to try to get gear out of the bag. the out side storage areas are to tight to put anything in. (like filters or many CD's), and the 3 pockets on the inside flaps are the same way and hard to get your hand into.

When I first bought the backpack I thought it was a good find. It was able to fit both bodies and my extra lenses. Although when I wear it and try to access the camera etc it is a bit hard to do.

Upon my first impression this was a nice bag with a lot of room. Unfortunately the longer you live with something you learn its flaws. First when you wear this backpack you feel like a turtle and it protrudes very far off your back. It makes it awkward maneuvering in tight spaces. Second one of the backpack straps failed on me after light use over the past 7 months, when the plastic adjustor piece broke. I found this unacceptable for a product in this price range. However not to be overlooked is this products easy access, nicely padded and adjustable compartments, and overall storage space.

Don't try and carry a heavy tripod on this bag, unless it's carbon fiber. I've used the tripod strap holder to carry my compact first-aid kit. The water bottle holder is a nice feature too. I've seen bigger camera backpack(s) with bigger prices. Quantaray has some the best equipment and is priced right for anyone who might be trying to save some hard earn money. Thanks!

This is a great pack, but after using it for about a year, the tripod straps on the side broke! The plastic piece that hold on the strappings broke in half! After having that happen (while in the field) I tried to use just one of the tripod straps and that one too broke off from the extra weight of holding the whole tripod on one strap. Not good. Other than that, great pack.

I needed a bag to hold all my gear (Nikon D70s, backup body, 80-200 f2.8, 18-70mm, Tamron 90mm, 50mm f/1.8, chargers, cables, flash, filters, and my 15.4" laptop. Let me tell you, it can hold it all. Bummer that the bag is designed for smaller laptops, but if you put a bigger one in the laptop compartments, but not in the padded sleeve, it will zip shut. As far as holding everything out in the field, forget it. The bag, with this much stuff is cumbersome and doesn't fit my back well. Removing the laptop help tremendously. I'd definitely recommend this back to those looking for one to hold their stuff all in one place.

I have traveled all over Mexico using this backpack and it has perfromed excellently. It has a lot of features that other backpacks do not offer and is very rugged. It fits in airplane overhead compartments well and even under most seats. I like the way you can remove the inner bag and use the backpack for other uses. The inner bag gives added protection to my gear.

My problem is I have two much stuff and I expected it to be able to hold more stuff. I have 2 Cameras, a 24-105mm, a 70-200mm and a 100-400mm plus a flash. It all just barely fit.
For the price I guess it work it someone did not have a extra camera and 3 large lens.
