I've always been a big Nikon fan but for the first time I am disappointed in Nikon. I ordered the replacement battery for my new Nikon coolpix camera and the battery fits right in but it doesn't work. This is the first time I've ever had a problem w/ a Nikon product.

Bought two batteries, and both are defective. Noted milli amps are wrong with spec's required: Battery is 650 ma and original Nikon battery is 730 milli amps.

This was an extremely disappointing purchase. When pugged in, my camera indicated that the battery was holding a full charge. When I unplugged the camera, the battery had NO power at all. Complete piece of junk.

Stick to the Nikon Brand replacement batteries - this non Nikon battery did not charge, and did not work in the camera at all had to return it for a refund...bought a NIKON BATTERY and works perfectly, it is worth the extra $$.

I ordered the Nikon Coolpix C51 kit as well as extra accessories and an extra battery. I didn't check the extra battery until after 30 days and then found it didn't charge. [...]

This was a great back up battery for me becasue I take 150 to 200 pitures per occassion and I sometimes my camera just can't keep up with me. It hasn't let me down.
