As a wildlife photographer, I travel light. The 8GB Sandisk cards elimates carrying several smaller cards. They are fast enough to copy from my camera's buffer when shooting multiple exposures per second, and provide fast downloading to the computer, too, which saves me much time. Thanks.

It is not the fastest card on the market anymore, but it's more than enough for my new 21-megapixel Canon 5D MarkII (pictures and video) and it's a lot cheaper than slightly faster new cards. I GOT 12 (yes, 12!) of them ;)

I am a part-time semi-professional photographer, and to me, the most overlooked part of a photographer's inventory is the flash card. I only use Sandisk, as I know that I can confidently take pictures of an event, knowing that every photograph will be properly stored and easily transferred. The speed and performance of the Sandisk Extreme III exceeds my expectations!

Holds a ton of images, obviously, it's just nice to have that much space available when shooting in RAW. Card is super fast too, so I don't have to wait for the data to transfer to the card. I love them! Price was right here too!!!
