You can cut an entire quilt in minutes: the number of layers you can cut at one time depends only on the thickness of the material! Its patented revolutionary portable design allows you to carry and cut wherever you go: to classes, retreats, guild meetings, and quilting bees. Included with the cutter is a great value die plus a cutting mat so you are ready to start quilting right out of the box. The die offers 3 shapes that work together for a multitude of projects: 4-1/2" Square, 2-1/2"Square, 2" Half Square, and a Finished Triangle (cuts 4 shapes). Directions for projects and using the dies is included. Measurements: open: 6-1/4" x 30-3/4" x 17", folded: 15" x 17" x 4-3/4". Colors: white, gray, and chrome.

Used this for cutting scrappy squares, strips and triangles and while they were accurate there wasn't much time saving as the fabric needed to be ironed, and sized before running thru the cutter. I suspect that if one were going a quilt with 4-5 fabrics it would be more worthwhile

I love my accu-quilt because I now can cut my own fabrics for my quilts again without having to wait for someone to help me with it. I have alot of arthritis in my hands, elbows and shoulders. It is very easy to learn to use and also very portable for me to take to my Monday quilting group.
