This latest edition to the Exilim line of digital cameras features the newest movie format - MPEG-4 H.264/AVC recording - which provides recording and playback of high-resolution video at remarkably small file sizes. In addition to increased resolution, you''ll also increase compression speed so the length of video recording is limited only by your memory card.
There are also four technologies integrated into the EX-V8 to reduce blurring. The EX-V8 is powered by the Exilim Engine 2.0 for high resolution, high performance, high speed, power saving and ultra-compact configuration. It''s packed with even more impressive features such as 8.1 megapixels, 2.5-inch Super Bright LCD, 34 Photo Best Shot Modes and 10 Movie Best Shot Modes.

I have tryed 5 other caneras, and found them to be short of my needs in some way or other.: Usually it was that the batteries wore out too soon, or where not sparked up enough when I needed to just grab , go, and shoot. When I gave the Casio to my disabled daughter to use, she could actually get it up to her eye, and see her subject. (She has muscle myopia). She is creating beautifully artistic pictures now , and she and all of us are darn proud of it all; except that honestly speaking, she gets annoyed with me because, I keep 'borrowing' her Casio camera from her to do my own pics. She will advise me to go use my own camera, but really, I do so much more like using the Casio camera. I find it so convinient, and small enough to take anywhere easily.
I truely am a Casio person, and can't wait for my Birthday, (March), because I indicated that I really want one , come my birthday. I think my daughter is going to convince my husband about that. Thank you Casio. I've loved you since 2003.
