Comments about Casio Casio EXILIM G1 Shock Camera (Black):

I bought this camera to take with me on backpacking trips. So far, it's gotten a few scratches, but it's functionality remains the same. This guy is tough, and for the price, it was worth it. The camera feels solid in your hands and it's pretty easy to use. It's definitely waterproof and has been in the rain, various rivers, waterfalls, and pools without a hitch. The camera doesn't really have any manual controls, instead is has various "Best Shot" modes. Depending on what situation you're in, the camera uses these presets to pictures. These do a pretty good job, but manual controls would be nice. There's also no HD video, but I didn't buy the camera to take video. Besides it's shortcomings, the G1 lets me focus on taking pictures of my adventures with my friends. Instead worrying if it'll survive the trip.
