I recieved this as a Christmas Present and after loading it up to use (which I admit was VERY easy) I was immediately dissapointed with the results. As a person who likes to take candids this camera is just not an option. While the LCD screen is big there is no viewfinder to help steady the camera (first lesson in photography class is to use yourself as a tripod-no viewfinder does not allow this option). All and all this is an inexpensive camera that delivers shoddy blurry pics...unless you are the type that likes to say "hold that pose...now keep holding...wait wait...almost there...ok breathe". I'm returning it this weekend.

I got this camera for Christmas; took a few pitures and was very disapointed. They were dark and blurry, not to mention that the shutter speed was dreadfully slow. I am definatly exchanging it. This camera should not even be sold.

With the right printer this camera gives you excellent pictures. The only negative thing is the battery life, very short lived, get yourself the rechargeable battery accessory.If you want all the fancy bells and whistles, go high end, but this is perfect for the normal everyday picture taker.

I bought this before I looked at too many reviews on a sales-person's suggestion. I was fooled by the "low price, brand name" gimmick. I had a Canon Powershot A60 that I'd had for 3 years (2MP) that took MUCH better pics than this. The indoor picture quality was terrible (fuzzy, terrible color) no matter what kind of light. I didn't get any pics worth keeping. If you're a beginner, the camera is simple and easy to use, but you can get much better quality at a lower price from some other brands (Canon, Kodak). Pentax is usually a nice brand, but all you pay for in this camera is the name. I expected more from this brand, even at this reasonable price. Read other reviews before you buy.

The optio E10 camera is the bomb for beginners(and non beginners too)The instructions are very easy to follow(you load them from the included disc to your PC)I purchased the optio S4i and had to return it cause it was to advanced for me,You will absolutely love this camera.I am in the process of buying an AC adapter.The price is awesome too.
