I bought this because Viewsonic has a good reputation, and the resolution seemed good. I was quite disappointed on several levels. First, the unit looks and feels cheap. The plastic frame looks tacky. When I loded some pictures, I noticed that the color was slightly off -- too much magenta. The problem is that although you can adjust the brightness, contrast, and color satuation, there is no way to adjust the hue. I would have to adjust every picture on my computer first. A bigger problem is the speed of the slide show. There are only 3 choices, slow, medium and fast. The slowest speed only keeps the picutre on the screen for ten seconds! The fastest speed is 2 or 3 seconds. That means that this doesn't function as a picture frame, but rather a fast slide show. You really don't have the time to appreciate a photo before it is gone. This is not good -- I sent it back.
