I bought my K110D with the standard 18-55 on it. I very soon realised I needed to be carrying a second and a third lense for the varried type of photography I do. I saw this lense on Kits web site and fell in love with it sight un-seen! Once it arrived and I started using it, I just couldnt be happier! It does 99% of all the uses I have for a lense. The clarity is GREAT! I have shot air shows to portraits,sceanery and wildlife with it. I am able to hand hold and get clear . prop stopping shots of earobatic planes. WOW what more can I say worth every red cent I paid.

This lens is wonderful for an all-around lens - it is versatile enough that I barely ever wish to change to another lens. On occasion, if I am doing close-up night shooting or travelling extremely light, I will switch back to the 18-55 kit lens, but that has only needed to happen 2 or 3 times. If yu are looking for a great lens for everything, here you go!
Cons: Iffy focus at night. Rather heavy, and because of this, the lens will extend manually if you do not lock it in place. Might scare squeamish wives or children with it's size and versatility.
