a nice, sturdy stand. I was a little surprised at the texture of the poles -- they have a textured look and feel rather than smooth metal -- but I found they looked pretty good when set up. It is nice that they give you two sizes of speaker platforms and also two types of feet (spikes and pads).

the stands definitely made my speakers sound better, although I'm not sure if this is due to improved placement or the vibration-dampening materials in the stand (cork rings at the joints and padded feet).

My only complaint is that I wish you could feed the speaker wires up from underneath the base rather than through a hole facing the wall at the bottom of the pole. Because of this minor design flaw, my speaker wires are not quite as invisible as I would of hoped.
