I needed a longer cord to connect a printer that I keep on a desk several feet from my PC, plus the distance around the desks. The value for these USB cables was incredible and the transmission speed seems about equal to the more expensive cable I was using before, even with a 9 ft cable. Awesome value - why pay more?
