    I have two of these drives that I use for my photography backups when I travel. They have to work! Other small backup drives are finicky (like Simpletech) and unreliable. I only buy Western Digital.

    This was working great up until a week or so ago. Now it isn't recognized and even the western digital software diagnostics won't work on it. Looks like I lost all of my data on it.

    I store everything I need (especiallywhen I travel)with no worries bout how to retrieve my info. Very user friendly..no downloading a lot of drivers..Love the plug and play!!
