Cannot get any simpler, just attach between your lens and camera body. I used this teleconverter on my Nikon D3 with the 70-200mm VR lens. Great price considering the alternative cost for a 400mm telephoto or zoom. Using the lens for outdoor photography, at 400mm zoom, my handheld pictures came out very sharp. I could not see any detrimental effect after reviewing the pictures on my computer. I do not plan to use this teleconverter indoors, so the two f stop loss will not affect me. Nikon does list those lenses that this teleconverter is compatible with; make sure your lens is on the list and you will enjoy the same results as I have.

I bought this for use with my 70-200mm 2.8 VRII lens. I needed that extra reach and this was in my budget. It takes the 2.8 up to a 5.6 which is fine for daytime sprts. The focusing was excellent and I did not noticed any major change in speed.

Tried this teleconverter on 70-200mm VR II, 300mm F2.8VR and 200mm F2 VR, it works great, picture quality is on par with TC-17E and AF is very good when shooting outdoors, but it is a bit hesitating when shooting in dark area. Overall it's very nice and a good choice if you do birds or wildlife photography.

My husband used Nikon D3, lens 70-200 VR, with this product (teleconverter 20e III) , and i use D300s without teleconverter, in the HTV award show at same time, same place. Woh, 2 pictures were diffence !
