Comments about Tamron Tamron 18-200 mm AF F/3.5-6.3 XR Di II Digital SLR Lens for Pentax:
I have had very good luck with this lens. Overall it has been quite a workhorse for me. I think the quality of the lens is very good as is evidenced by the thousands of photos I have taken and edited over the past four years. I find that many of the errors that occur in my picture taking are due to operator error and not the lens. If you've properly adjusted your camera settings to your shooting conditions, this lens does its job!
Because the lens does not have vibration reduction, I simply pack a tripod to compensate. When it comes to performance and cost, a sturdy tripod trumps VR. If you want to shell out the extra cash, VR trumps a sturdy tripod in convenience. Bottom line: If you are considering this lens, I say go for it!

This looks like a nice lense with good range. However it kills the battery over night with the camera turned off. Have to take back. Will re review if taken care of.
