This lightweight tote holds up to 8 standard sized skeins of yarn! Yarn in use can easily be removed from tote through lid. Textured PVC base keeps contents dry on wet surfaces. Tote can be carried 3 ways: easy grip handle or shoulder strap to carry horizontally or vertically. Accessory pouch stores small supplies, and the mesh pocket is perfect for patterns and books. I received one as a gift and loved it so much that I bought the other two colors. The yarn drum is the perfect size for all knitting and crocheting projects. It is large enough to fit an afghan without being too large or cumbersome. It has two slots that allow easy access to projects and they can be quickly pushed back in when you are through working. They are great for traveling or around the house. I have the three different colors so I can easily grab the project I want to work on. Depending on the size of your project you could easily put a couple of projects in one drum. Also, the two slots make it easy to keep yarns separate when doing color work. I absolutely love these yarn drums.
