I use the filter to block UV rays while taking photos of outside events sponsored by the Richmond Times-Dispatch newspaper. I once got outside photos that turned a weird blue, and this seems to eliminate that problem. It is invisible to my photos, it fit nicely on my lens, and i can't think of anything bad about it.
