I love these headphones! I was warned that they may actually have too much bass however if you like bass then they've got just the right amount! For the price these things can NOT be beat! I'm pretty picky about how things sound and I love these! The sound isn't perfect however it sounds pretty awesome as KOSS normally does! Not to mention you're not spending $50+... They don't take much getting used to either even for someone like me and i don't normally like things in my ears but these are fine. I bought 2 pair for home/work :-D I'm sure if (if) I have to buy headphones again I'll be buying these!

the foam acts similar to an ear plug. the sound gets muffled in a small ear canal, as the hole is compressed. probably good for bigger ears than mine
