Comments about Nikon 300mm f/4 ED-IF Auto Focus Silent Wave Nikkor Lens:

This is my go to lens for wildlife and birds. With my 1.4 TC it's a 420mm and with a 1.7 it's a 510mm. With sun they focus fast.

Comments about Nikon 300mm f/4 ED-IF Auto Focus Silent Wave Nikkor Lens:

I've taken some stunning photos of birds with this lens. It would be great if the lens had a larger aperture, but then the price would shoot up. Make sure you have a good, solid tripod.

This is a great lense, fast focusing and Image Quality is also very well rounded. Also add a 1.4 Extender or 1.7 and reach out a little further for some good wildlife shots.
