Very easy to set-up. Provides nice, soft light. They fold and pack nicely for travel - no bulky reflector cans to pack. I own 2 pair and use them mainly for video interviews.

The light set is easy to set up and affordable for my purposes. The included bulbs were shattered upon delivery. They were not packed suitable for shipping. I ordered new bulbs. I am still not excited about the actual bulbs because they are as yellow as any household incandescent. I foolishly assumed that because they were photofloods, they would produce daylight spectrum light. I don't know much about studio lighting yet and I am now a little concerned that I might not be able to get a daylight-color bulb that suits this set. More research is needed on my part. If I can get the correct color bulb for this set, I will be happy with it.

rim holding light melted within the first 15 minutes of shooting and started smoking. not happy.

I use these lights to shoot interiors of custom homes. They are extra easy to set up and take down, compact enough to use in small rooms and have enough power to light larger rooms and hallways. Have also used them for portraits and they work well for this, but the light is a little warm. Overall they are a great value and I am happy enough with them that I bought a second set.
