Standard lens featuring superb quality and portability. Two high-refraction lens elements and new Gaussian optics eliminate astigmatism and suppress astigmatic difference. Crisp images with little flare are obtained even at the maximum aperture.

Comments about Canon 135 mm EF f/2.0 L USM Lens:

I bought this lens for indoor dog sports with pretty poor lighting. My EF70-200 IS 2.8L zoom was just not fast enough and I was getting too much noise at the higher ISOs with my 40D. Upgraded to the 5D2 and with this lens I can use ISO 3200 without much noise at all. It's tons lighter than the 70-200 zoom. Still have only about 3 inches depth of field at f2 at my focus distances, but there's only so many photons out there and this lens does a great job of putting them on the sensor. This has got to be the sharpest lens I've ever seen. I've only had time for a couple portraits, but this is THE lens for full frame portraiture. Beautiful brokeh. Ritz isn't always the cheapest option out there, but their price on this lens was very competitive.[...]
