The case is the only original part of my 10 year old desktop. I got tired of being told by retailers that the only upgrade available for a system was memory. So I started replacing and upgrading motherboards, processors, audio/video cards, power supplies, or other hardware years ago.When I had my old Desktop rebuilt, like a lot of the newer motherboards the system came with 4 USB ports to the rear and 2 were available on the front. I needed 2 more USB ports and the mother board has 6 more internal USB headers available. I don’t like USB Hubs so, I needed an outlet plate.I shopped around and couldn’t obtain the plate from any of the local stores. I did a GOOGLE search and found it on line. I bought it from Ritz for half the price at some other stores, [...] I installed it into an open slot at the rear or the case, plugged the two connecting cables into an open internal USB Header. I turned the system on, it was detected and automatically the drivers were installed. Simple enough.It’s a solid plate, well made and they didn’t not go cheap on the wiring or connectors. It works. Star Tech is a very familiar name brand.Thanks Ritz.
