Hoodman 16GB RAW Steel SDHC Class 10 Memory Card & Adapter Kit

This entry-level SLR offers all an aspiring photographer needs to go from serious amateur to professional, and it comes with stunning good looks. Accurate, sharp images can be captured in still frame in JPEG or RAW formats, and the 1080p video produces true high-resolution movies. The DX CMOS processor captures the outstanding color Nikon is known for, and the large 3” LCD gives clear views for composition or image review.

    Guide Mode

Novice photographers moving up from lesser cameras need not feel intimidated by the D3200’s robust functionality. The Guide Mode walks users through simple and complex operations alike, such as photographing fast-moving objects or people, shooting in adverse light conditions, and close-ups.

AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G lens with Vibration Reduction (VR) Lens

Fine optics are some of many products Nikon is famous for, and the 18-55 VR lens is no exception. The range of the lens is equivalent to 27-82.5 in 35mm. This provides a versatile range from wide-angle through mid-telephoto. The Vibration Reduction technology allows sharp images to be captured at speeds up to three stops slower.

    Active D-Lighting

High-contrast scenes are no longer hard to capture. The Active-D Lighting feature analyzes scenes and suggests camera settings so the captured image mirrors what the human eye sees. The feature can remain activated for constant assistance, or it can be deactivated for more creative control.

    Built-in Flash

The pop-up flash works in either manual or automatic TTL modes. Fill flash based on matrix metering and standard flash based on spot metering both provide superior results. And while the built-in flash has the capability to handle most situations, the D3200 has a hot shoe mount for use with other Nikon flashes and speedlights for even greater photographic freedom.

    Eye-catching design

For decades Nikon has been known for capturing images of beauty, and now they have created an object of beauty. Leaving the dull black-bodied status quo look behind, the striking metallic red housing makes the unit look fantastic mounted on a tripod or draped from a neck strap.

    EXPEED 3 Image Processor

This is the same processing method that Nikon perfected in its professional-grade D4 SLR. It delivers fast, true images in both still frame and video.
